Beachcomber Resist is designed to raise the total alkalinity in hot tub water, which helps to prevent pH fluctuation. Alkalinity changes occur naturally in hot tubs, making this a commonly required product. A low total alkalinity can cause spa water to become corrosive, which can lead to skin irritation and damaged hot tub equipment. Resist is a finely ground granular and completely soluble. It won’t leave behind biproducts that cause cloudy water.

How to Use Resist

1. 18g, or 1 tbsp, of Resist will raise the alkalinity of 1,000L of hot tub water by 10ppm
2. Add directly to the hot tub and let the jets run for at least 15 minutes

DO NOT APPLY RESIST WHEN PEOPLE ARE IN THE HOT TUB
Wait 15 minutes after applying Resist to use the hot tub

Tips for Using Resist

• The alkalinity in your hot tub will continually go down, we recommend adding Resist once per week
• If your alkalinity is below 40, we recommend you bring a water sample to the store. We will do a comprehensive water analysis to ensure there’s nothing else that could cause future problems.
